I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the knowledge and kindness that helped shape my own magical journey.
First and foremost, go to your local bookstore and buy Wiccapedia: A Modern-Day White Witch’s Guide if you don’t already own it. I really cannot speak enough about how magical this book was for me, I intend to do a full deep dive review someday. But getting it after having a “You know, I always wanted to be a witch” thought, it has hardly left my side since. It does such a wonderful job introducing the power of magic and how it can be utilized in the modern world right now and it resonated with me quickly and deeply (Though the cover has started to fall off… Try and repair or buy a new copy?)
Secondly I highly suggest you check out Daily Rituals by Phoebe Garnsworthy. These simple exercises and their magical primers can skyrocket your awakening and unlock your true magic. Its rituals have brought so much peace and light to my world and if the intent calls to you as well, I’m sure they can do the same in yours.
Edit 11/3/24: I really can’t believe it took me being in a state of constant ritual for nearly two weeks to realize affiliate links are busy work that sucks the magic out of my dream.
I’m going to try and seek out small etsy shops providing handmade products crafted with intent. Instead of pennies from a megacorp, I’d prefer gratitude from another dreamer! Products just have to be magical and the sellers genuine. I want to stay away from the bought in bulk imported and sold at a ridiculous mark up for no reason.
